Equivalent fractions represent the same value, but they don’t look the same.

For Example,

1/2 and 2/4 are equivalent.

3/5 and 9/15 are equivalent.

Finding Equivalent Fractions

There are two methods to find equivalent fractions Mathematically.

Method #1: Multiplication Method

Method #2: Division Method

To find the equivalent fraction, we multiply the numerator & the denominator of the fraction by the same number.
