They are the parts of wholes with the same number of divisions.
How do you compare like fractions?
Like fractions have the same denominator.
Each whole has the same number of parts.
To compare like fractions, we only compare the numerators.
For Example,
2/6 & 1/6
2/6 shows 2 parts out of 6 total parts.
1/6 shows 1 part out of 6 total parts.
